The purpose of our Prayer and Care Groups is to assist the body in fulfilling the “one another” requirements of Scripture through encouragement, prayer, and practically applying Biblical principles in “spurring one another on towards love and good deeds” to God and others. The reason for these groups are based on:
Proverbs 27:17 – “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”
Hebrews 10:24&25 – “And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the day approaching.”
While anyone is welcome to join, the group currently contains families with children ranging in age from under 1 year to 15 years old. The location rotates between homes, so please contact the office or one of the attending families to find out where we will be meeting this week.
