The church is collecting food donations for the Thanksgiving Baskets now through Sunday, November 24. Collection baskets are available in the narthex for your donations of non-perishable food items. Monetary gifts should be placed in the offering plate and designated as “Thanksgiving donations” and perishable items will be purchased from those gifts. Directory Photos and Fellowship Lunch: We will have a two day event to take pictures for the directory on November 17 and 18. Sunday pictures will be taken before and during Sunday School and after service. A Thanksgiving themed Fellowship Lunch will be held at noon. On Monday morning and evening there will be 10 minute sessions for those not able to have their photos taken on Sunday.
The Awana program seeks to establish kids on a firm Biblical foundation that will guide them in the challenges they face in life. Join us for our Sunday service as we come together to worship our Lord and Savior. Childcare is provided for infants through preschoolers. During the sermon, elementary age children (1st – 6th grade) leave for Bible Blast (Biblical Lessons And Spiritual Training) which is a kid-friendly lesson time. After the service parents pick up their kids from their classrooms.
Youth Group is for kids in 7th through 12th grade. Please join us for a time of food, fellowship, games and God’s Word.
Needlethreaders is a small group who gets together on the second and fourth Mondays of the month to make quilts, baby blankets, pillowcases, dresses, or any other need our missions could use. All ages are welcome and all skill levels can be utilized! Regular activities include, but are not limited to, sewing by hand or machine, cutting fabric, ironing, knitting, and crocheting.
