Our Values.
These 4 values articulate particular character qualities God wants Whitneyville Bible Church to reflect as they emanate from the character of our Triune God.
UNITY (Be One)
“The LORD our God, the LORD is one.”
We are a reflection of our Triune God. We are a multi-generational Church family with varied gifts of the Holy Spirit. We are like-minded in humility, love, and kindness. We glorify God by preferring one another and not pursuing personal preferences. We build trusting, honest relationships. (Deut. 6:4; Psalm 133:1; Romans 12:16 & 15:5-6; 1 Cor. 12:4-14; 1 Peter 3:8; Eph. 4:1-6; Philippians 2:2)
HOLINESS (Be Holy)
“Holy, holy, holy, Lord God, the Almighty, who was, who is, who is to come.”
God is HOLY – there is no one like God who is perfect in all He is and does. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are clothed in His holiness and given new life. As we walk in step with the Holy Spirit, we are totally dedicated to hear, believe and obey God’s revealed Word, the Holy Bible. We implore everyone to accept and pursue God’s command to be holy as He is holy. (Rev. 4:8; Isaiah 6:1-13; 1 Thes. 5:23-25; Ephesian 2:8; Romans 6:12-23; Philippians 3:16; 1 Peter 1:13-16; Galatians 5:25)
TRUTH (Be Truthful)
“The entirety of [God’s] Word is truth.” and “it is impossible for God to lie.”
We are to be like Christ who is the truth. As new creations in Him we are committed to honesty purity and transparency in all aspects of our lives. The spirit of Truth guides us in all truth. By relying on His guidance, we humbly embrace a walk of integrity and a life that glorifies God. (Psalm 119:160, Hebrews 6:18; John 14:6; John 16:13; James 5:12)
LOVE (Be Loving)
“God is love.”
This love is unconditional, kind, gracious, enduring, merciful, and forgiving. He proves His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ, God’s son, died and rose again for us, offering the forgiveness of sins. By faith, we are enabled to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. By the Holy Spirit we are empowered to demonstrate God’s love in every way toward Him, His people, and the lost. (John 3:16, Matthew 22:37-39; Romans 5:5 & 8; 1 Cor. 13:4-8; Colossians 3:12-14; Galatians 5:22; 1 Timothy 1:5; 1 John 4:7-8)
‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

Our vision:
These 6 Vision statements provide a Holy Spirit-led description of who God desires Whitneyville Bible Church to become in an ideal state.
1. We are a Holy Spirit-led fellowship who stands on the absolute authority of God’s Word.
2. We cultivate a relentless, passionate pursuit of God in worship and prayer because He first loved us and sought us out.
3. Being adopted into the Family of God through the sacrificial blood of Jesus Christ, we lovingly welcome all and offer fellowship to those who seek the refuge of Christ, adding to our number as God provides the increase.
4. Since God extravagantly lavishes Hus goodness and grace on us, we obediently utilize our God-given spiritual gifts to humbly serve others. We demonstrate love by abundantly providing for the spiritual and material needs of one another and the community around us.
5. We are prayerfully dedicated to raising up disciples of all generations by teaching and living the truth of God’s Word.
6. We lay down everything to faithfully and shamelessly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our local community and around the world to the praise of God’s glorious grace.
We are committed to helping you to connect with others, build your faith, and find your place at Whitneyville Bible Church. We accomplish this through three main touch points:
Worship – We desire that everyone comes together once a week to worship our Lord and Savior. This is vital for our spiritual growth and encouragement as believers.
Discipleship – We desire that everyone join our Sunday School class or Bible Study where they are challenged spiritually and form life-touching-life, iron-sharpening-iron relationships with other believers.
Service – We desire that everyone engages in some form of service, using their God-given talents and abilities to build up the Church body and reach the lost with the gospel message.
