Good Friday Service

Gather with other devoted Christian brothers and sisters on Good Friday, April 3, at 7:00 PM, to observe the Great Sacrifice of our Lord Jesus in paying for the sins of humanity. Through worship, meditation on God’s Word, and participation in the Lord’s Supper, we will contemplate our Lord Jesus’ death on the Cross and His burial in the tomb.

But God proves his own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

Some marvel that Christians refer to the horrific day of the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus as Good Friday. How can such tragedy be called good, they wonder. But for the wholehearted, devoted Christian, it is good to us because, “The Son of God became a man to enable men to become sons of God.” (C. S. Lewis)
