Lord’s Supper & Benevolence Offering

Please join us for the Lord’s Supper. Along with other believers we have the opportunity to outwardly show our love for and fellowship with Christ, this is a time we remember the atoning sacrifice that Jesus made for us, and look forward to the time when He will partake with us in the kingdom.

When believers in Christ partake in the Lord’s Supper together, they demonstrate their union with each other and with Christ. We, as Christians, are reminded of Christ’s sacrifice and remind each other that He is coming again. The Lord’s Supper is also known as Communion.

As they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, gave it to the disciples, and said, “Take and eat it; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and after giving thanks, he gave it to them and said, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. Matthew 26:26-28

At WBC, when we observe the Lord’s Supper, we also take offering for our Benevolence fund.
