The Awana program seeks to establish kids on a firm Biblical foundation that will guide them in the challenges they face in life. Through memorizing Bible verses, lesson time, and games, Awana establishes a welcoming, supportive environment where kids learn how a personal relationship with Jesus Christ affects their everyday lives. The name “Awana” comes from 2 Timothy 2:15, Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed.
Awana meets on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8:15 pm during the months of September through April. All kids age 3 – 6th grade are welcome.
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

Awards – Clubbers have the opportunity to earn various awards for attendance and completing handbooks. Each child works at his/her own pace and is guided by a caring leader.
Uniforms – The uniform is a vital part of Awana. It helps the clubber feel included and is where most awards are displayed. Uniforms may be purchased after finishing the entrance booklet and should be worn for each meeting.
AWANA Bucks – Leaders may reward good behavior or extraordinary achievement by giving AWANA Bucks to the clubbers. Clubbers can use their AWANA Bucks at the Awana Store to “purchase” a special prize.
Weather – Please see the cancellations page for weather related closings.
