
Neal Stockeland, B.A., M.Div., Th.M., M.Ed.
Pastor Neal came to know Christ as a Bible Institute student. After two years of school he spent two years in Music Ministry. He then entered Grace College in Indiana and graduated with a degree in Biblical Studies and Biblical Languages. Seminary followed where he focused on Old Testament & Hebrew and Jewish Studies, also receiving a degree in pastoral ministry. Two years as a Bible Teacher Chaplain in suburban Washington, D.C. were followed by two years in pastoral ministry at Manchester Bible Church in Indiana. Six years as a Bible Teacher/Chaplain in Bismarck, ND were followed by three years as a Christian School Administrator in Santa Rosa, CA. He moved to Michigan to become the Superintendent of Freedom Baptist Schools in Hudsonville. He most recently was the Chaplain at Mel Trotter Ministries in Grand Rapids. Pastor Neal has worked with IMI/SOS for the past eight years serving churches as interim pastor and pulpit supply.
Pastor Neal is currently an associate with IMI/SOS International, a ministry that provides pastoral help to churches in times of pastoral vacancies and with counseling and mediation during times of crisis. Neal and Betty reside in Hudsonville, MI. They have three sons and two grandchildren, currently!
Neal brings a broad background to the role of interim pastor: Christian school Bible teacher and administrator, youth and music, pastoral ministry, Jewish missions, Rescue Mission Chaplain, along with several interim pastorates. He is a graduate of Grace College and Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, IN.
