Timothy and Titus were both faithful servants of God and worked closely with the Apostle Paul. We know much about Timothy and we tend to study the book of 1Timothy rather than the book of Titus, but let's not overlook the book of Titus. Titus was given a difficult job to do on the island of Crete. He wasn't sent to any one particular church, but to all the churches on the island. His demanding assignment was to provide oversight and to appoint leaders in the various churches on the island. What made his task even more formidable was the generally poor character qualities of the Cretans (See Titus 1:12-13a). Join us in this study as we read and study the instructions that the Apostle Paul (guided by the Holy Spirit) gave to both Titus and to the Churches on the island of Crete, and also to Christian Churches and Leaders since that time.
