The New Testament contains four Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The word "Gospel" simply means "good news", that is, the good news concerning Jesus Christ. In the four New Testament Gospels we learn much of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and the salvation that we find in Him. You may not realize it, but there's some very detailed and specific prophecy of Jesus in the Old Testament, especially in the 53rd chapter of Isaiah. About 700 years before the birth of Christ this brief chapter of Scripture has much to say about our Savior; that's why we're entitling this small series "The Fifth Gospel". Listen in to these four messages and experience, perhaps anew, the amazing accuracy of this prophetic description of our Lord Jesus Christ.
