The Olivet discourse in Mathew chapters 24 & 25 was a private conversation that Jesus had with His disciples. It took place in the last week of His life (on this earth) on the Mount of Olives, in view of the Temple. Jesus prophetically foretells the future conditions on earth during the Great Tribulation and the certainty of His return; this time coming in all His majesty and glory.
